About Us
Our Indivisible Auburn WA community is affiliated with the national grassroots Indivisible.org movement. Locally, members are building knowledge and power to create change for the democracy we want. We’re organizing to build a collective purpose and take action in our community.
Indivisible Auburn WA meets in-person once a month. In our large group meetings, we learn, plan, and celebrate together. At other times of the month, members select to work in small groups around issues of interest. Our Resistance Action Teams are presently prioritizing healthcare for all. They are focusing on First Amendment rights. Support for our immigrant neighbors is also a priority. Additionally, they emphasize DEIA (diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility). These teams work to protect people, disrupt and disobey authoritarianism, defend civic institutions, and build alternatives for strong communities. Volunteer teams also support protest/events and community engagement. See more information here.
Auburn members contribute their strengths and interests to enrich our work. They do this through art, music, and graphic design. They also use technology, social media, and community connections.
